Rev. Sue Yun is an elder in the United Methodist Church. She dedicated her life to serve Christ Jesus and followed her calling to ordained ministry over 20 years. One day she prayed and said that she would like to serve Jesus and asked him what he would want her to do. She heard him saying to her heart, “serve my people whom I loved and died for.” Her ministry focuses on serving and loving people in the name of Jesus Christ, and making God’s kingdom together where God’s love, peace, and justice reign. She obtained her M.Div. degree from Boston University School of Theology and studied spirituality and pastoral care at Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. She was trained for healthcare Chaplaincy through the Clinical Pastoral Education Residency program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. As she wanted to do pastoral ministry at a local church where long-term discipleship can be developed unlike a healthcare setting, she began her local church ministry in 2013 as a lead pastor. She currently serves Aldersgate UMC in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
